Our Story

Hey Heartbreaker! I'm Jules :)

Pieces that take you from heartbroken to heartbreaker

One collection at a time.

About us

Heartbreak Honey was born from a breakup (as I'm sure you could have guessed from the name).

In 2020, while studying at the Fashion Institute in New York, I was given an assignment to create a business plan for a small retail store. That same week, my long term relationship ended. Naturally, I did what any heartbroken fashion student might do: online-shopped like my life depended on it. I needed my confidence back—and retail therapy was my coping mechanism.

But here’s the thing: I didn’t just want better clothes—I wanted better meaning behind them. I wanted my clothes to come from a brand that understood how clothing can help you feel, simply put, like you again. So, I decided to pour everything I was feeling into that school project and create my own.

Little did I know at the time, that project was the first business plan for the brand in front of you today.

I've always been an all in kind of person. I got that from my dad. If it's ever going to become a reality, you have to put everything you've got into it. Then, if it fails, at least you can say you did what most others haven't: Tried.

once he was gone i decided to finally go all in, and that's when hbh really started.

Mission

Our mission is simple: to create high-quality pieces that take our customers from heartbroken to heartbreaker.

Each collection tells a unique and relatable story- because no two heartbreaks are ever the same. Built around a theme we choose, with carefully crafted pieces, intentional design details, and even it's own theme song that emulates the feelings of the collection, these capsules create an experience for our heartbreakers.

The brand isn't just about clothing. It's about creating something real—a space that feels like community. A place where heartbreak doesn't feel isolating, but empowering.

Creating something that didn’t just feel like another clothing brand on your feed, but a community of people who have all been through similar, shared experiences of heartbreak was super important to me.

Here, our heartbreakers aren’t just wearing clothes. They're wearing a story.

Just like your favorite tales, we're always evolving- We can't wait to see where the brand continues to go.

We love you! xx
